At ABLE Developmental Clinic, I provide clinical counselling to individuals (children, youth, and adults) with Autism and related challenges. I also offer parent training and coaching to parents/caregivers of children with special needs and typical children who may be exhibiting challenging behaviors. 

At Vitality Integrative Health clinic, I provide clinical counselling to individuals, couples, and families with mental health issues including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, social/communication challenges, family or relationship dysfunctions, loss and grief, and other life challenges.

At Soar Inclusive Preschool, I promote the inclusion of children with autism or other developmental delays. I strive for the maximum learning experience of all children regardless of age, gender, and ability. By communicating and coordinating with parents and the other stakeholders in children's lives, I provide a nurturing learning environment for the children, ultimately improving their quality of life and their families'.

As the owner of Home of Joyful Learning, I operated a program for children 6 months to 12 years of age which provided excellent child care and education to the children. Through patience and strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, I allowed the children to learn and reach their full potential while ensuring their safety and well-being. Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers and supporting them with issues even outside the child care program were crucial aspects of my work experience.

At ACT-Autism Community Training, I provided family support and information services via email and telephone to parents, professionals, and para-professionals supporting children with autism. I maintained and accessed a wealth of information to provide to families on a wide variety of issues including but not limited to autism assessment information, educational programs, service providers, and transition issues. My administrative role involved a regular update and maintenance of the Registry of Autism Service Providers. 

Behavior Interventionist/Autism Support Worker

While completing my post-secondary degree and working full-time, I continued one-on-one support to children with autism in a number of settings including home, preschool, school, and community. I implemented programs based on principles including but not limited to Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Support, Verbal Behavior,  Cognitive  Behavior Therapy, Picture Exchange Communication System, and other social skills training. I assisted children with autism in utilizing and enhancing their skills in natural settings to ensure a positive quality of life for them, their families, and their peers.
